Memorial in Dilijan | Soviet Modernism
Memorial for the 50th anniversary of Soviet Armenia in Dilijan, Tavush Province, Armenia. Built in 1970 Architects: A. Tarkhanyan, S. Avetisyan and K. Vatinyan The series of Soviet Modernist Architecture in Armenia is a continuous project. It is an ode to the architectural heritage that is either lost or unfairly undervalued. The main aim of the project is to reveal the beauty and value of soviet-modernism to the indifferent public through the magic of colors that accentuate the simple yet fantastic forms of these monuments.
